John Arnott – Your Inspector
John has an Engineering Degree and has worked for over 20 years as an independent Project Manager involved in the design, build and start up of Industrial Chemical Plants. John brings this same attention to detail to the Home Inspection business.
He has completed the Humber College Certificate Program for Home Inspectors and his background and education qualifies him as a Registered Home Inspector with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors. John is also registered as a Home Inspector with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.

Your detailed, easy to read report is presented after the inspection ( Home Inspection Report ) and all inspections are performed to meet or exceed the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors Standards of Practice.

Susan is probably the first person that you will talk to. John does the inspections, Susan does everything else. What is a Registered Home Inspector?
In 1994 the Government of Ontario passed The Ontario Association of Home Inspectors Act to grant the OAHI as the designated self regulating body for Home Inspectors in Ontario.
A Registered Home Inspector:
- Has met the highest qualification standards for a professional Home Inspector in Ontario including approved College courses in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Structure, Building Science, Defect Recognition and Part 9 Building Code.
